Below, you can find solutions to the mostĬommon problems that our visitors have had and solutions to these problems. I’m planning to still have it replaced but just want to put in here in case someone encounters the same.If a part of the illustration didn’t turn blue, or the illustration doesn’t react to your mouse clicks at all, then the issue lies within the mouse and you have failed the mouse click test. While on my first encounter, I was trying to reconnect it over and over again for more than hour without the said buttons working at all. Not even ten minutes and it started working again. To continue testing, I switched my AC on to the coolest and my fan to the highest number. Lo and behold, the mouse stopped working in an hour. I then turned off the AC, and continued using. So to put the theory to test, I started using the mouse in a cool room. My theory then was that maybe the left and right clicks are not working when the mouse becomes hot. When it ran for hours, I was working and realized that it stopped working only when I left my room without the AC on. It was this time when the mouse stops working after a short time. And then I had an epiphany - when I started using the mouse, it was in the morning and my AC is off, so it was kind of hot and humid. The mouse worked consistently for 16 hours. So I did the same ritual which is to re-box it.Ī few hours later again, I pulled out the mouse and the receiver, connected to my PC. I reached out to the store where I bought it so we scheduled a replacement but it will not happen in a day so I decided to just put it back in its box so it is ready for replacement.Ī few hours later, I pulled out the mouse and the receiver and attempted to try again and the mouse worked (all buttons) for like an hour before giving up on me again. Continued same process for 1-2 hours but the both buttons never got fixed. Tried a clean uninstall and reinstall to no avail. Both left and right click worked for a few seconds and not a minute, and then stopped working again. I removed the mouse and the received and then followed the manual which is to use the cord and the adapter to with the receiver instead of direct. Other buttons are fine and responding per G Hub. Wasn’t able to test it then and there for around 5 mins and when I did, both left and right click are not working. Plugged the received directly to my PC and turned on the Mouse. Saw this problem here in one or two posts so just wanted to share mine and how I “may have” fixed it. ![]()
